The citywide "Hoops in the Hood" summer basketball league for children and teens will set up shop for its 14th season on city blocks and in gyms in a dozen LISC Chicago partner communities.
In addition to basketball, "Hoops in the Hood" brings art activities, free health screenings, food and drink, and a police presence to increase the peace.
The citywide championship will take place on Aug. 18 at Seward Park, 375 W. Elm St. For the full schedule, please click here.
