LISC awards grants for 23 NCP projects 8/18/2004
Lead agencies and local partners launched 23 projects in the first half of 2004, using $450,000 from LISC/Chicago’s New Communities Program. The projects ranged from youth activities and a library arts festival to skills training programs. Most grants leverage other funds from private and public sources.
